Now I just keep a list of titles I want and periodically check www.imdb.com to see if they are available yet on DVD.

Don't forget that Amazon now owns IMDB.

Amazon might have a little leverage regarding unreleased titles. Imagine if Wal-Mart suddenly got into the act of suggesting releases to studios based upon customer requests (God help us if they do - we'll be seeing an increase in Grade D action thrillers and horror movies and insipid kids films - all in P&S, naturally).

I was wondering about that since clicking on the DVD link for a title always takes you to amazon's site.

Is there another site I can check as well?
