Does anyone know how to adjust the volume output of the HDTV 6000 receiver? I can adjust the regular 2700 but not the 6000 model.

My 4700 does not have a level control of the audio output either as my 2700 has (and the volume level can be adjusted with the remote) Appears that if there is a digital audio output on the unit then there is no volume control.

I have the 6000 and have never found a volume control - esp thru the digital connection - since all the DD programming is somewhat lower in volume than the regular. That's so they can send you the whole range of the DD signal without having to cut it back from being too loud during the best parts...

All I know is that the HD programming is much quieter than the SD programming. When I switch from HD material to SD, I about blow my speakers.
