Just want to say this is a GR8 site [IMG]
    Simply the best......:b
There is so much info on this site that it would take a long time to sort through it all... That's gr8 !!
    If only I had a readiing room...HMMMMM.....

    Now on to biz....
I am planning to build a HT in my walk out basemnt.
The room is 24' wide x 15' deep, quite large......too large for HT? not
I want to use all of the 15 but, is the 24 to wide (l to R)??
Is it better to have a wider than deeper room or vis versa?
How about sound dampening on the walls?? Im planning to drywall the whole thing, even cieling.
What size screen should i use for the Infocus X1 ?
I saw a post in here somewhere about building your own screen out of sheetrock.....any links??

Also want to purchase a Infocus X1....any feedback??
Is the X1 as good as some of the other projectors (ie
NEC,Mitsu,Sony)? Been reading alot on projectors here,
    still learning.

I m in need of some good advice for packaged HT system
(reciever, speakers) I already have a DVD player and a DTV system.
Thanks again for all the help

You didn't say if it was possible but you probably want your to put your display device on the 15 ft wall and then you could have multiple rows of seating if you want to go that route.
