ViewSonic has launched the X1 and X2 high brightness 1080p LED projectors for home cinema use. The new beamers, which promise to offer flexible options for installation, feature 3rd generation LED technology with a claimed 30,000-hour lifespan. They also include Harman Kardon speakers for optimized audio.

Just lumens associated with an LED source? Lumens are a standard measurement of light regardless of whether the source is incandescent, fluorescent, or LED (to name a few examples.)

Would a lumen by any other bulb seem as bright? :)
