This may be a stupid question...but is there a minimum recommended viewing distance for an LCD TV (Sharp Aquos, etc.?

I think I read something about three times the screen height or such..but can't recall now.

I want to buy a new LCD to replace a 26" model I have in the kitchen ...viewing distance is about 4-6 feet. I'm torn between a 32 or 37 inch set. We will be watching mostly Digital Dish SD programing with lots of DVD's and some HD.

    Thanks

Hi Dennis - For your viewing distance I would recommend a 32" LCD. This is an ideal size for 4-6" viewing distance. The 37" LCD ideally suits 6-8" distance.
