"View 30 most recent posts" question (1 Viewer)

This is probably my "most clicked link" on HTF, but I was interested in how it works.

I would think that it lists the 30 most recent posts, but then when I click it, it brings up a header "30 Most Active Topics Page" which would seem to be different.

Also, how often is it updated? Every thirty posts? Every five minutes?

Not trying to ask petty questions, just interested in my most favorite "click" on HTF.

Well the 30 most recent and most active would be the same thing. It is updated as soon as you refresh the page as it reflects the time when a post was made. So if you posted something at 5:38pm and then at 5:39pm the 5:39pm would show up first and would fall off the page after the next 30 posts were made.
