Vidikron Model 10

    Does anyone have any experience with the Vidikron Vision Model 10 projector? My A/V installer is recommending it....thanks.

    According to Projector Central it's about a year old, only 1024x576 resolution, and 780 ANSI lumens. In short, this is no longer a competitive design in any way.

    If he's trying to charge you more than a few hundred dollars (and I mean well under $1000) for it, I'd get another installer. He's ripping you off.

    PS -- RE: Gregg's accurate comment below. I happen to own an older Vidikron projector. It IS an excellent brand; however, it doesn't appear that the price-performance of this model is competitive.

    Vidikron is a WELL respected name in the display field. They are owned by Runco.
    If Bobs comment on resolution is correct, there are lots of other options out there.
