I've heard so much about comb filter in R1000. My question is that if I connect composite video sources into two of video inout line 1 and 2, anfd view that material through R1000's s-video out to TV, am I getting better picture? Comb filer of R1000 is working while just passing composite video signal to s-video out? If so, it would be great to use R1000 as composite video source material swichter?

Just a question, why would you use composite at all?? If you have two sources like satellite composite and DVD S-Video or vice versa, then yes you can use it as a switcher. However I believe the comb filter may only apply to S-video. Don't quote me on that, I may be wrong. If I'm not then you use the comb filter and if the sources you are talking about both have S-video, then an external switcher (about 20 bucks) would best suit your needs. Again I'm not to sure about composite and the Comb filter.
