Video quality when played on projector using laptop (1 Viewer)

I have Sony hw45 Es projector. And marrantz SR 6012 receiver. Will I lose picture quality if I play videos directly from my laptop to the receiver or else should I use a hard disk and through a blu ray player is better?

I downloaded a Blu ray movie and want to play it directly form the laptop to av receiver to projector. When I played it the sound I got is Dolby atmos from the receiver will. The sound isn’t affected. Will the image quality and colors be different on the projector ?

the laptop I have is windows 10 laptop.with these specifications
