Video quality of ER Season 1 (1 Viewer)

I have been watching my set for the first time this week. I noticed that a lot of the episodes show "sparkling" (small flashes of white dots). The problem is evident on multiple disks and via two different DVD players. I have not spent time trying to determine if the defects are identical on both players but wondered if anyone else has seen this.

Otherwise I think the video quality is quite good. The DVDs are certainly an improvement over what I have seen via cable and satellite.

Yes, I've seen this, too, and as I remember it's been discussed here at the time. Nothing wrong with your setup.
