video input - Dazzle DVC 80 sync problem (1 Viewer)

Hi all. I recently bought a Dazzle DVC 80 analog video input device and am having sync problems. I started digitizing some video using a DivX High motion compression codec. Within a few minutes, the video and audio started getting out of sync. Is there another compression codec I should use instead? Which will give me the best results? Are there any other suggestions you can give me? thanks a lot for your help.

DiVX is a hybrid of MPEG and software based, it's not designed to be a direct capture codec. I have no idea what kind of hardware is in the Dazzle, but it should have come with it's own Codec. Try an MJPEG if all else fails
