Video HD Bandwith?? (1 Viewer)

I saw that Yamaha receivers now have Ultra HD video bandwith. I believe it is 50 or 60MHZ. Cant remember. This is higher than some of the other HD capable bandwiths I have seen for receivers/pre-pros.

My question is:

What is the recommended safe bandwith to get now for HDTV? I am looking to get the Outlaw 950. I think that has a 40 MHZ. Is that enough and what video resolution would that cover?

Brian, I have wondered the same thing. I found this linking around on this forum. I think Outlaw pretty much sums it up for us.

Well for a different point of view, take a look at this AVS forum thread. Stacey Spears and John Kotches are pretty knowledgable folks but I'm not saying that Outlaw is wrong either. They basically seem to think 150MHz is required.
