Hi,

I have a 57HDX82 RPTV and most of the time i use to watch DVD's or to play videogames.
But i was worry about the burn-in since the one of the game we play a lot is Tekken and i and you know this game has the big green life meters on top of the screen.
Usually we play 2 hours non-stop.

So do you think this will cause burn-in?

Oh and is burn-in cumulative?I mean does the TV act as if it forgot what happened during those videogame sessions when i turn off the TV?

Try the MASTER BURN-IN THREAD:

This has been explained at length.

Yes wear is cumulative. Depends a lot on how hard you drive the phosphors.

Turn the contrast way down, say to a third from the bottom. This will usually prevent heat build up which is what leads to burn in.

Once you notice residues of stationary subject matter such as the game score counters, more noticeable in solid color patches, it's not going to go away.
