Anybody know where I can get the "Video Essentials" disk here in Toronto, Canada? As well as a decent SPL meter! I can't seem to find one anywhere, I have tried at Radio Shack.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Radio Shack has their Radio Shack Analog Sound Pressure Meter 33-2050. This is the one to get. If you can't find in localy try to get it online from Radio Shack.

You can try eBay for the Video Essentials or Avia disk if you have trouble finding it.

both Video Essentials and Avia are available from totalactionuniverse.com. or amazon.com, for that matter.

I've been looking to buy one of these, but haven't bought either yet; any thoughts as to which is better? the user reviews on amazon seem to suggest the Avia is better, partly because it comes with 3 colour filters whilst VE only supplies one.

could the experts out there please help enlighten us newbies?
