Don't want to buy both, which is better (more accurate?) for speaker calibration. I am not so concerned about video settings.

Also - Is there a "new" version of Avia or is a disc that is 1 or 2 years old the same as one bought today.

Also - What about S&V HTT...good, bad, indifferent???????

    Thanks,

    John

I don't believe either one is more accurate than the other. Using either one with an SPL meter should get you where you need to be in terms of accurate speaker levels. I remember reading a thread in which Vince Maskeeper said that he did some electrical tests and got virtually identical results with both discs, which were much more accurate than the receiver's internal test tones.
