Will the new Video Essentials Digital get you close enough to an ISF calibration that the picture will look great? Does it have any overscan/geometry adjustments? What are the new benefits over the older Video Essentials and Avia discs? Just curious since I have never used these type of discs before.

I'm getting a new 36XBR450 this weekend. So, which calibration disk do you recommend: VE, Avia or wait for the new VE?

Buy or rent AVIA now, it's pricey but worth it (IMO). The new VE is supposed to street at $25 so that will be worth the pick up later. I own AVIA and will definitely be buying the new VE when it comes out--though I'm not quite sure why since I just had my set ISF calibrated. [IMG]

    Greetings
Use it for audio set ups ...
And of course ... new and updated test patterns to cover the course of drift over time.
    And it's only $25.
    Regards
