Strictly out of technological curiousity, of course:
TitanTV says no... but CBS says yes.
I guess I'll have to tune in just to be sure. [IMG]

I will be tuning in as well, strictly in the interests of fair and accurate reporting. No, don't thank me, it's an honor to serve. [IMG]

I will be tuning in because I am an unattached, heterosexual man who enjoys the sight of an attractive woman in her underwear.

Only problem is that this is on the same time as fastlane, west wing, and birds of prey! Ughh...they should have kept it at its 9pm central time slot, stupid bachelor finale got it moved.

Mike, I appreciate the problem. I plan (as always in these conflicts) to watch the most visual show in HD—and time-shift ‘WW’. [IMG]

Is it on tonight? OMG, I'll be testing a customer's projector tonight. Looks like I'll have some material besides DVDs to test it with... too bad I don't have a HD receiver though. [IMG]

I'm probably going to record (what is the right way to say it now that I've got the new time warner digital recorder box. Its not tape anymore, record sounds wierd...) fastlane and westwing, skip birds of prey (its cancelled so why bother), and watch this.

I have a great er, desire to scrupulously evaluate detail and resolution and color fidelity on this broadcast. Oh how nice it is to have a 100 inch screen...

    well it wasnt HD.

and it is always nice to be able to admire beautiful women on tv but,
that chop, chop quick cut editing of this show makes it almost impossible for me to watch for more then a few minutes at a time.it is hard to focus on anything when all you have is about 1.5 secods to see each shot.

it gives me a headache and makes me dizzy.

The quality was still better than my local cable feed (I've got CBS on DISH)--but am I just getting too old? Those models were just too damn skinny! Well, except for a few that were a bit more voluptuous... and the way they walked was so unnatural that it wasn't even close to sexy...

Also agree that the editing was so damn annoying--plus they had so much crap filler--I just gave up... :-(

I noticed most of them weren't even smiling. I wonder what's up with that. Editing aside, it was a fun ride, especially with a borrowed projector and a 6' image, and the sound cranked up.

I agree with the other comments. Very quick edits and emaciated models (Tyra Banks was a notable exception--nicely "bouncy"). Also, I saw very few outfits that really appealed to me, their skimpiness notwithstanding. This is my typical reaction to fashion shows ("would anyone really want to wear that??"). The lack of smiles didn't surprise me.

Betweeen the MTV-style edits, the somewhat-bizarre outfits, and the weird walking-style most of the models used, I also found this show kind of a letdown. My favorite part by far was when Tyra Banks walked the runway in the red outfit while the cool flamenco-style guitar music was playing. That sequence was really great. Does anyone know who was doing the music there? I would like to get that.

My wife and I really like the lingerie you can actually buy from VS, but the stuff on the show was just like all other haute couture - too bizarre for us.

I watched a few minutes of this show last year, and that was enough to not make me want to see it this year. Those models are way too skinny for me, it looked like the clothes were gonna fall off any second (which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, but still).

But then again, it's a fashion show, and they're never really sexy, even if the models have next to nothing on.

I found the show very entertaining. I look at it as just an hour of escapism and eye candy. Heck, I spend almost that long looking at the VC catalogs. The choice of music was excellent. I found the way the models walked and the angel thing as very mesmerizing. But hey, unlike others who have posted, I prefer my women thin and will not apologize for it. Who else but thin women would pose so publicly in so little clothes anyway? What would the ratings be if oversized models were used?
