    This runs better than GTA3 ever did on my system, which is a very good thing. For those who have played already though, did they change it so that you don't get cop bribes for vigilante missions? I checked a FAQ to look for the package locations (just too damn lazy to look for em), and the only thing it mentions is a reward for a level 12 mission. Looks like the game could be a little harder than gta3 then...

    Looks like another great game though, except they left out the one feature that I wanted to see in gta3 (besides better performance), and that's RANDOM WEAPON ACCESS! What would the problem be with assigning weapons to the number keys? Much easier than cycling through...

    Oh well, off to kill more innocent people...

    I'm playing through this right now and I'm loving it. At 1024x768x32 the graphics are way better than the PS2's, and yes I too noticed that it runs better than GTA3 on my PC. Missions that require aiming are much easier with the mouse than with the PS2 controller as well.

    I'm very happy with the overall performance. Much, much better than GTA3. However, I am a bit concerned because the game has already crashed twice on me when I tried to save my game. There're few things more frustrating than getting through a tough mission, going home to save the game, and then finding out the game has stopped running and you're going to have to go through all that trouble over again while hoping the game doesn't crash yet again.

    I was playing this game with a GeForce2MX and I was impressed. I just got a new vid card and I'm even more impressed. I don't think I'm that far(just got the option to purchase property), but I'm not worried. Plenty of stuff to do.

    The only thing that disappointed me was the control of the katana. I guess it's just because I'm comparing the moves to Jedi Outcast.

    Ill repost these for you guys to look at. The game is gorgeus and runs fantastic on lower end machines (Had it running decently smooth on a 900mhz system with a ti4200).

    Running on the following:

    Pentium 4 3.06gig
    768mb of ram
    ATI Radeon 9700 pro
    120gig Western Digital HD
    Soundblaster Live 5.1

    All screenies at 1280X1024 with 4X Antialiasing and 16X Anitstropic Filtering. Enjoy!:

    What's the best way to control this game? The keyboard and mouse might be great for when you're on foot but I can't stand driving with the keyboard!

    Played a bit more, and again, very impressed. Only playing at 1024x768x32, but since I've only got a Radeon 7500 I don't know how much more I can push it.

    I actually find driving with the keyboard to be pretty easy, but you can also steer with the mouse.

    I just got the chainsaw...I like chainsaws...

    Man, you guys are getting me all hyped up for this. I've beaten GTA3(going through it again with a walkthrough to get 100%), but now I'm totally looking forward to VC...

    I'm not sure if they changed it in VC, but in GTA3 mouse steering is a pain. I use a mouse+key combo for both walking and driving...

    RMB = Accelerate
    MMB = Enter/Exit (also functions as hand brake)
    LMB = Fire

    S = Turn left
    F = Turn right
    D = Reverse
    W = View left
    R = View right
