While I greatly enjoy Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, calling it "iconic" is hyperbole. Iconic is such an overused word that it's beginning to mean nothing. Singin' In The Rain is an iconic musical comedy, Oklahoma! is an iconic musical comedy, Top Hat is an iconic musical comedy. Priscilla is not!
I don't know if Priscilla is deserving of the label "iconic", but one has to keep in mind that different titles will be iconic to different generations. The films you mentioned are all great but a number of decades back. Today's young folks are likely to look to something a little more recent as iconic to them.
Not to mention that Imprint is an Australian label and Priscilla is an Australian movie, so it's likely more "iconic" to them than any of those American musicals would be.

The "explosive 70's action-comedy" was Convoy, because the truck is carrying explosives.

The "iconic musical comedy" is Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, which is a comedy about characters performing drag caricatures of iconic musical acts.

Looking for the most literal answer, the "80's juggernaut" could possibly be something like The Final Countdown, because it's about an aircraft carrier? Or maybe Runaway Train? Trying to think of movies about large, overpowering heavy vehicles.
I’m thinking the 80s juggernaut might be Road Games, as a 4K of that is already in the works at Kino and it’s an Australian film.

Between A Bridge Too Far and Priscilla, Via Vision/Imprint is going to be very dangerous to my wallet... on top of the catastrophic hits it's taken earlier this spring.

It is one of the more financially successful Australian releases so to that film industry it is iconic.

I had a feeling it might be The NeverEnding Story, but I quickly poo-pooed it because I thought that was another Warner Bros. title.

It never occurred to me that it might be this.

I would like to get all four, but I probably don't want to shell out how much they'll cost (especially TNES). Right now, their site seems to be getting hit hard, so I can't see what the prices are.

On edit: Finally got into their site. Too rich for my blood. Here are the prices. In black is the MSRP in Aussie Dollars, in red is the current MSRP in US Dollars. They are knocking off AU$10 per title (~US$6.80) as an ordering price.

The Never-Endling Story: $259.95 $176.80
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: $129.95 $88.39
A Bridge Too Far: $129.95 $88.39
Convoy: $119.95 $81.58

The discounted bundle price for all four: $499.95 $340.00 which averages out to US$85 each.

I'll be getting one of the StudioCanal editions for Convoy, and hope that the others get released here (or somewhere in Europe for better prices).

I've never ordered a Via Vision title before, as their transfers aren't always from new masters. However, I'm confident that these 4K UHD titles will be up to scratch. Ordered Priscilla, as this has always been a favourite. Eye-watering price of US $112 shipped to Norway + 25% VAT and customs charges. Sheesh. This is considerably more than Umbrella Entertainment's price of US$ 78 for the Deluxe set of Eyes With A Face, including the book.

I'll try it just this once and then see how much bang for the buck I'm getting. Also, one never knows how long one has to wait for a European or US release. Still no UK or US release of Possession or The Last Wave on 4K UHD....

What the...? Who is going to pay $176 US for Never Ending Story? I wouldn't pay that more than $50 for any single film, and even that would be a stretch.

Not on my radar. I’ve never seen it and didn’t know it was a big hit.
It was one of those films that flopped in US theaters but found a huge cable and video audience later, like Xanadu. I believe it was a hit in Europe, Asia/Australia. It’s theme song was big worldwide hit by Limahl. Was never my cup of tea but alot of people love it. I think it’s a well made movie.

I ran this (brand new print) as a Saturday/Sunday Children's Matinee and two to four people a show came. Wonderful, intelligent, original film that my sons and wife fell in love with.

I’ve bought from them extremely pleased they put alot into restoration and extras usually. Picture quality is superb. Btw the shipping to US is faster than expected certainly faster than UK Royal Mail.

Definitely pricey but they put a lot of effort into restoration and extras. I love the titles
i ve bought from them. They sometimes come out with s standard edition that is cheaper.

Different generations, different countries, and also different audiences. Priscilla Queen of the Desert is definitely considered an iconic movie within the LGBTQ+ community.

Soooo... I guess in a manner of speaking that giant flying dog is a large, overpowering heavy vehicle.
