Second Unit
Okay Just got the set in the mail and all of the movies are region free except "Summer Holiday" A Region B block comes up as soon as I put that one in my 4K player. Odd that they would only Region lock one of the movies. I do own the UK Studio Canal blu-ray of "Summer Holiday" which is also region locked. I'm able to watch it on an old Panasonic Blu-ray player by using the Top menu trick to by-pass the region block. I was hoping it would be Region free in this set so I didn't have to mess with that anymore.Hey Josh , let me know how you like it as I’m really interested in getting it as I’m a fan of Sir Richard. Incredible that he’s going strong and seems to be in incredible health for his age.
I have Take Me High on the Network Blu Ray & love it. Bought it for him and especially Deborah Watling. Big fan of hers ever since I first saw her as a little girl in the 50’s UK version of The Invisible Man and Doctor Who.
I’ve never seen The Young Ones, Summer Holiday or Wonderful life so it will be a treat to see them for the first time in HD
The picture quality for the three movies I'm able to watch are a big improvement over the DVD's. Colors pop and picture is nice and clear. "The Young Ones" Looks the best I think. The LPCM 2.0 audio sounds great as well. The set is definitely worth getting, I'm just really curious as to why they region locked "Summer Holiday".
