Received a package from Via Vision/Imprint today.

On the plus side, it includes the new Prisoner box set that I ordered.

On the minus side, rather than sending the 2009 version of the Prisoner on Blu-ray that I ordered, they instead shipped me a DVD copy of the 60s series.

Hopefully their customer service will be able to assist.

All good, they fixed it immediately!

I went through the Imprint Asia box set for Hero. I've waited for a definitive home video release of this movie for a long time. This isn't it. Lots of just plain baffling decisions and disappointments that I've tried to catalog in my review.

That's not something I would buy, personally, but I do find both the movie titles and the plot descriptions hilarious.

The TV Movie set is a really cool idea. Tempting, but they're not really my kind of 70s TV movies. I'd rather see the more over the top stuff - disaster, sci-fi, suspense, etc.

Also, looking at the photos above I almost thought I was looking at a Columbo set - Janet leigh, Leonard Nimoy, Vera Miles, Sian Barbara Allen - all Columbo vets.

Clearly we have different definitions of suspense. All three TV movies are thrillers with suspense the main component. How successful they are with the suspense is open to debate.

My mistake, I suppose I meant thriller rather than suspense.

This might be the wrong thread for this but I can't find one for Via Vison. I haven't seen many people talk about this Cliff Richard Blu-ray set. Does anyone If it's region Free? Does not list the region on Via Vision's website.

I have the set and It is not region free, but region B. It’s a fun set and I have enjoyed these films from DVD to this set.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I contacted Via Vision and they said that it's Region Free and will play in US blu-ray players but I've also heard contradicting info from people who own it, who say it's actually region B locked. I had already ordered it and it arrives today so I guess I'll find out for sure when it's delivered.

I've come across any number of Blu-ray releases from varied non-US labels where the case states that it's Region B, but it plays fine in my Region A player. It's possible that people who are stating that it's Region B are going by what it says on the case, and not by actually trying it in their player.

Hey allen, are you using a region free / multi region player to play this? I have one so i’ll be able to play it but I just wanted to know bc I also have a regular player that I use normally and use the region free one just for region b / region 4 sets.
Hey Josh , let me know how you like it as I’m really interested in getting it as I’m a fan of Sir Richard. Incredible that he’s going strong and seems to be in incredible health for his age.
I have Take Me High on the Network Blu Ray & love it. Bought it for him and especially Deborah Watling. Big fan of hers ever since I first saw her as a little girl in the 50’s UK version of The Invisible Man and Doctor Who.
I’ve never seen The Young Ones, Summer Holiday or Wonderful life so it will be a treat to see them for the first time in HDIMG_5446.jpegIMG_5447.jpegIMG_5448.jpegIMG_5449.jpeg
