The WAF looms its ugly head.

I was going to move my Paradigm Atoms upstairs for my wife in the new house. This will be a 2 speaker only system. Mostly for background CD music, watching TV and the occasional DVD. She does not care about surround sound and isn't a critical listener.

The Atoms are not uge but she said could you trade them in on something smaller that I can put oon top of the TV cabinet or out of sight. GASP I still get shivers thinking about that kind of placement and getting SMALLER speakers with no sub. But she is the boss as I have a dedicated HT room downstairs.

I cannot order these online. It must be something I can buy locally.

Any suggestions for small inexpensive speakers that won't totally suck with no sub? I know I won't get much Bass but I don't want total junk either. Any ideas?

Maybe look at in-wall/ceiling speakers? Or Atoms in white if that would blend-in better.

    Jamie,
Check Wackies in Halifax to see if they have any of the clear out Axiom MZeros left. No bass but decent mids and highs in a tiny package and with the clear out discounts, good value.
