Trying to watch "A Bug's Life" yesterday, and getting LOTS of pixelation.

I'm guessing the main source of a problem like that is the DVD player. (Philips MX3900D) It is a Progressive Scan player.

Is that usually the only cause?

TV is Sony 34HS510 w/component to DVD player.

Thanks gang.

Have you tried the disc in another player? And have you tried the disc over again in your present player (that is, is the anomoly repeatable)? It could also simply be a bad disc.

I'll try it when I go home for lunch.

Thanks

Well, it's the DVD player. :frowning:

I tried another, and looked great.

Wife is not going to be happy that I am starting my "custom" system earlier than expected. :)

Thanks again for the help everyone.
