Over $855m worldwide, I think a sequel is pretty much guaranteed unless there's some sort of breakdown with Tom Hardy, though I'd presume he's signed up for a multi-film deal.

I saw this today on bluray. got it cheap from amzon.

Didn't think it was great. was okay i suppose.
Still doesnt work for me that it isn't connected to Spider-man although Brock and his girl did allude
to an incident in NY that caused him to leave.

Maybe I lost track or the movie did but wasn't there 4 symbiotes?

There was Riot, Venom and the one that died but no mention of what happened to the 4th one.

The fight between Venon and Riot was short and just, I don't now uneventful?

Not enough Riot in the movie and I expected more then 2 symbiotes to appear.
Was very close to putting the subtitles on in the beginning because Hardy was doing some type of mumble diction.

The movie did not whelm me at all, there was no whelm.

The symbiot calling himself a Loser. What?
Motorcycle car chase seemed to go on forever.

Hardy is like Adam Sandler, doesnt do anything without doing a wacky voice.

Riz looked like he had no interest in being there.

The more I think about it the less I like it.
Considered watching it in Venom mode to get all the trivia tidbits but I dont thinnk I can.
