Velodyne CHT input? (1 Viewer)

I plan on getting a velodyne CHT-12 in the next 5 days or so, and there's just one thing I'm wondering about before I get it. The input on the back of the velodyne has both a left and right RCA in, and my receiver only has a single output.

Does it matter any that I'll only be running into the right or left input? Does it make any difference? Or should I buy a decent Y-splitter?

Thanks

I would go with the Y. It will make your Auto function more sensitive.> This is your first consideration.. Yes it will have more gain/volume-headroom with a Y but calibration will be the same except you will not need to run your sub as hard to achieve the same level.
