My mom just got the Vegas Vacation DVD in the mail (in a contest she won). Now, I have a question. I thought it was a good movie (not as good as the first Vacation, but IMO better than European and Christmas), but should I:
    A) Sell it since it's in pan and scan.
    B) Keep it and enjoy it even if it's not in it's original theatrical aspect ratio.

Find one more DVD that's fullscreen and trade it in at electronics boutique for a widescreen copy of LOTR [IMG]

    Vegas Vacation is only unmatted...

You could probably matte your TV to 1.78:1 and get an acceptible image until a matted version is released.

If you can get more than 5 American dollars for it ANYWHERE...
    ...take it. [IMG]
I sell DVDs on eBay, and I can tell you that that particular title wouldn't net you a whole lot. BUT you do have a lot of crapola in your collection, Matt! Time to trim the fat and buy some newer stuff you really want!

LOTR for $5.88, yes...but you'll never be able to laugh at the comic adventures of Mr. Pappagiorgo in Las Vegas. Lord of the Rings, but at what price?

Then again, it's always on TNT and TBS...

If you really like the movie, I say keep it. Selling it to someone else would only encourage more non-ws acceptance. It's not like you bought it!

Keep it! Watch it over and over, and when its on TBS watch it over and over. I swear, I'll watch this everytime its on TBS. I've seen this movie at least 10 times by now.

Just keep it. I doubt they release it in WS, but you never know.

I have to admit that I like this movie. It's not as funny as the previous installments, but it has a lot of funny moments...like when Clark laments about how the kids don't even look the same anymore (they were both played by different actors...lol).
And, for my money, Marisol Nichols is a hottie! [IMG]
