Have a great time!
Las Vegas Nightlife
EDIT: D'Oh! Fixed the link.
I'm jealous man! I haven't been down there for two years now... used to go every year! *sigh* But... I always went as a married man, so I can't help you much with the "bachelor" type places.
The page Matt mentioned (fixed the link) has a great list of night clubs and strip joints though. Have fun! We expect a full report when you return!
One hint: If you see a guy that looks like Wallace Shawn running a blackjack table in the Mirage, avoid him.
If you really want 3 Nights/4 days of booze & gambling to become 3 Nights/4 days of women, booze & gambling - 2 words....
Enjoy your stay!
Wow... I didn't realize the world-famous Chicken Ranch had such a complete website! You can even preview the ... employees.
Swingers! Love that movie
Thanks for the links everybody...especially the Chicken Ranch one Just kidding...
It now occurs to me that I'm going to need to bring a lot more $$ than I planned on taking originally...
Oh well, you can't take it with you...so I plan on having fun this trip!
I'm putting my whole wad on RED 27 at the first Roulette table I see...it's either gonna be a great weekend, or I may go "Nicolas Cage" (in: Leaving Las Vegas)...oh well, as long as I can find Elisabeth Shue on the Strip
Thanks again everybody!
Check out 'The Beach' Nightclub. I heard it is pretty fun. If you log on to their site you can get a VIP pass (no cover) at the club.
Ask for Justina or Michelle. Trust me.
Got the gameCube cables mailed off last night via USPS Priority...you may get them Friday or Saturday! Or at the latest, Monday.
Richard, thanks for the tip. I intend to check out "The Beach".
And Bill, I'll check out Cheetah's (and Justina or Michelle)...no worries there
Go to the Palm's Casino as seen on MTV's The Real World-Las Vegas. They have a nightclub called Rain (in the Desert) that my friend went to a few months back. He sent me this link and told me to check out the photo gallery. He swore that the gallery is a pretty good representation of the kind of people you will see there. In other words:
Do me a favor and slap an ass for me.
Isnt there a Coyote Ugly in Vegas? If its anything like whats depicted in the flick, im sure youd have fun!
Play lots of craps. And take lots of craps too.
Nightclub RAIN at the palms hotel, the best nightclub in town...hard to get into..long lines...but well worth it...try to get VIP if you can
Coyote Ugly at New York, New York is great. It's tiny and don't bother looking for a seat...there are none. But the bartenders/dancers really know how to work for tips. Studio 54 at MGM is great too. It's probably one of the best spots in town to see visiting celebs. I think Rumjungle at Mandalay Bay is overrated. Get there before 10:00 to avoid the $20 cover charge. The place is a total meat market, but it was so packed the night we were there, it was literally impossible to work your way past the bar to the dance floor. I didn't like The Beach at all. Totally away from the Strip and it seems to draw more of a raunchy college crowd. GhostBar at the Palms is nice. Again a $20 cover and the drinks are steep (as they are at almost all the resort nightclubs), but you get an awesome view since the bar's on the 55th floor and half of the club is on a big outdoor terrace. Spectacular. The cantilevered terrace has an acrylic panel in the floor that allows you to look straight down to the pool below. Don't expect to see much through it at night, though. The VooDoo Lounge at Rio offers similar vistas as it's atop the hotel. Have a great time. Wish I was returning there soon.
geez, glad I never wasted my money going to the Chicken Ranch ! 99% of those girls are foul !
I'm looking forward to the final report. I'm headed back to Vegas at the end of August for my Cousin's wedding. I'll be going for 7 days and so far the only 2 things planned are the wedding and going to see Blue Man Group again. Oh yeah and a whole lot of drinking/partying.
COYOTE! Press to Enter
God, what a waste, since I've quit drinking...
You're so money you dont know how money you are!
If ya want a real good but pricey meal, ya cant go wrong with Emerils:
If you go to Delmonico, see if they got their $10k plasma screen fixed/replaced yet. When I was there they had watched soooo much CNN that the logo had burned in, was very visible when they had another channel like ESPN on.
