VCR Hookup stoopid qustion!! (1 Viewer)

I would like to tape some stuff off of DISH ...how do I hook up my VCR? Nothing seems to work...help!

Three ways should work.
COAXIAL CONNECTION - connect the coax from the satellte receiver into RF ANTENNAE input of the vcr and then out to the T.V. Leave the channel on 3 o 4 howevr you set it up and all images are on 3 or 4 can be recorded.
COMPOSITE CONNECTION and STEREO CONNECTION - yellow/red/white out from satellite receiver and in to Video/Audio in on the VCR, and then out to t.v. or receiver. NOTE: this may require you to select the Line input to see and hear the picture
S-VIDEO - S-Video out from satellite receiver to S-VIDEO in to VCR. NOTE: this may require you to select the Line input to see and hear the picture.
