Does an adaptor/alarm input exist to make a Standard VCR turn on from a motion detector? So that VCR can record triggered events from a security camera?
    Thanks for any response.

The only one that I know of, although I'm sure others exist, is the VCR Commander II kit that is availble from X10.
    Check out their website at:
    http://www.x10.com
There's actually a special on thru tomorrow where when you buy one of their wireless XCam cameras, you get the VCR Commander II software and motion sensor kit free (suggested $60 value).

Thanks Dale! I checked this out but decided against it for two main reasons: The receiver is video only (I need audio/video) and I prefer wired so that I don't have to change the batteries.
Any other tips will be appreciated.
