Hi, I am new to this forum. I have read alot of interesting ideas and posts. I think its great! An area where knowledgeable people can share their thoughts and ideas. Keep up the good work!
Anyway, on to my question. Excuse my ignorance!!
I am thinking of purchasing a HTPC for my next generation theater. Now, if one has a RPTV with only component video inputs, how can you extract a VGA signal from the PC and input this signal to the component inputs? I have yet to see h or v sync inputs on a RPTV. I have seen VGA to component breakout cables, but they always have the h and v sync signals and BNC connectors.
Or are you reserved to using the S-video output commonly found on most video cards. Your help is greatly appreciated.
