Usual Suspects SE DVD-ROM problem? (1 Viewer)

Picked up the disc last night (a BIG improvement over the Polygram edition.) Since I am at school, I only have access to my DVD-ROM drive, and when I started watching the deleted scenes, the volume on Bryan Singer's intro was really low (almost inaudible) for part of it. Is this a problem with the DVD, or is more old DVD-ROM drive acting up again?

I noticed this as well, I think it was just bad boom mic work, it was that way in at least one of the featurettes too where the sound would fade for a bit.
