using preamp for Zone2 (1 Viewer)

i have a krell hts2 preamp
supposedly supports 2 diff sources in 2 diff rooms at the same time with 2 zones.

anyone know how to set this up?

how could i play a diff source in a different room...doesn't it have to be hard wired to the preamp?

Yes the speakers going to the other room have to be wired to a amplifier then to the pre/pro. It allows you to say, watch t.v in your ht room and listen to the radio in another using the same pre/pro and all the gear connected to it. if it is just for one room or patio then it is a nice feature. But if you want whole house audio it becomes a little more expensive. If you want multiple rooms, then I suggest using something like the A-bus system from russound which uses keypads and infared to control audio from any room. or volume controls and a speaker selector to beable to control volume in all the rooms.
