Here's the question. I have an older Marantz integrated amp w/dolby pro logic, driving older Klipsch speakers. I am considering upgrating to DD/DTS, etc., but wonder if there is any way to utilize the marantz in a new set-up. Excuse my ignorance, perhaps there is no way to do this. The Marantz does NOT have any main-outs.

It just seems like a shame not to be able to use this in any way. I love the thing for everything else it does, but want to upgrade to the latest, greatest.

As always, thanks.

If it has 5.1 analog in, then you could get an outboard DD decoder, but there isn't one that does DPL-II, AFAIK. If it doesn't have inputs, then you will need to get a new receiver and sell that one on E-bay, or put it in the bedroom. :)
Buy a new receiver with the features you want, use that one to power an SVS. :D
