I am considering purchasing a Rotel 1066, but currently is out of my budget.... (that is with the power amps). I have come across a HK AVR7000 Receiver(5.1) at a Auction brand new for $1300(Australian $). Am thinking of getting this now, and then in the future buy the Rotel 1066 when I have saved enough.
If and when I get the 1066, will it be possible to use the HK Recievers amp to drive my speakers off 1066, and if so will it still sound good as compared to a Rotel 1075 amp driving them.

    The HK AVR7000 is 5x100W
    Rotel 1075 is 5x125W

    Please any comments/advise is appreciated...

    Thanks

The HK has the amp's directly accessible on the back. It comes from the factory with jumpers to run it's 5 channels in, just knock them off and run interconnects from the rotel. It should sound fine.
