Using city watermain in place of sonotube?

    That stuff is made out of PVC right? If it is, I wouldn't sugest that you use it. People here have said before that, that stuff isn't good for a sub. Just my $.02 and I might not be right. [​IMG]

    If you're referring to something like Blue Brute, it should work well as long as you can get a good seal on the ends. I'd think that its resonance point would be high enough that it wouldn't be an issue with a sub. As for strength, it would be WAY overkill.
    I'd recommend using Sonotube because it's easier to work with.

    I went to pick it up today and decided it was way to heavy if I built my sub with it, it would probably weigh 150 pounds!
