Using amplifiers (1 Viewer)

Greetings Everyone
I am Eugenio Cu (Eugene)
I want to have a 7.2.4 dolby atmos home theater set up using the ff:
- marantz AV7706 pre amp
- my front speaker is from SVS prime pinnacle
- my center speaker if from SVS ultra
- my surrounds is from wharfedale
- my ceiling speaker from polk
Any way, i now its kinda mixed up (i got the speakers during sale from different times)
My concern is my budget is used up in these speakers, so my budget is now kinda tight for the amplifiers, i was thinking of buying 4 channel class D amplifiers, anybody tried these amplifiers i see in shoppee? Are they any reasonable good?

A great place for measurement data is over at the ASR forum. This a great time for good enough quality at less than 100W per channel thanks to some reception patent expirations and some new TI chips for the Class D space.

To help with the many speakers maybe look at getting a miniDSP HD or similar to do some room and speaker corrrections. This can help harmonize your setup.

Helps if you provide your budget and the exact models (and/or maybe links to them) you're looking at.

Most of us are in the USA and Canada w/ some in Europe (mostly UK), maybe extremely few in Southeast/East Asia, so factor that into how much we can help w/ what are available to you in the Philippines.

Offhand, I'd suggest checking out Emotiva's offerings for something fairly affordable -- seems like they should be available to you. They don't do class D amps though -- not sure why you're focusing on class D amps though... as good class D isn't necessarily more affordable, but quite often fairly expensive.
