    Universal City, CA, June 18, 2004 - Available for the first time ever on DVD and VHS, Universal Studios Home Video proudly announces NBC News Presents, a special news series that brings to life the events, people and issues that shape the headlines of history. *From the award-winning journalism team at NBC News, these in-depth, investigative reports and insightful personal profiles incorporate exclusive footage from the world-renowned NBC News archives. *The series will be launched on July 20, 2004 with the release of NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan - a fascinating tribute to one of the most influential and charismatic political figures of the 20th Century. In the following months, NBC News Presents will release additional series installments focusing on topical news-making subjects, ranging from the last days of Jesus to popular diet trends. All DVDs include extensive bonus features and are priced to own at $19.98 SRP. VHS version is priced at $14.98 SRP. The pre-order deadline for NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan is June 29, 2004.

    Kicking off the new DVD series is NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan, a personal and political portrait that examines Reagan's unprecedented success in Hollywood, Sacramento and Washington D.C. and touches on the enduring bond between Ronald and Nancy Reagan. *Hosted by Dateline NBC's anchor Stone Phillips, NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan features four intriguing reports. In addition to an extensive biography segment, the disc also includes a look at Reagan's role as the "Great Communicator," his movie career and a remembrance of the sense of style that he and the First Lady brought to the White House. *

    Bonus Features Add Depth and Insight

    Like all titles in this groundbreaking series, NBC News Presents: Ronald Reagan is packed with bonus material selected from NBC News' massive archives. Extra features include:
