    Synopsis

    The only problem is the 3-D version has been downconverted to the inferior red/blue anaglyph format, and it of course in no way comes close to looking like the polarized, clear glasses IMAX 3-D version did.

    These red/blue conversions of 3-D movies are almost always a disaster, and they do serious harm to the perception of the process in general.

    Since there is no field sequential version included (easily done) the flat version also included on the DVD is the better choice.

    Save the cost of this DVD and buy a ticket to see THE POLAR EXPRESS in polarized IMAX 3-D instead; it's a much better film and the process is absolutely stunning.
