I wouldn’t be surprised if the new bonus feature gets added to existing digital copies after street date.

I’ll be in Martha’s Vineyard for the JAWS 50 th celebration and there’s a whole event built around the new documentary with a free screening and expensive after party.

Would be nice if they fixed the pixelation in the Dolby Vision layer that occurs when the helicopter is flying over the beach on July 4th.

We can hope that Turbine releases it. They have a good relationship with Universal. I just picked up Super Mario Brothers.

They have a few announcements left, and I hope they are saving the best (Jaws) for last.

I will buy this steelbook. It may be busy but I like it. I own the original 4K steelbook, and this will be my first double dip in that format.

I seriously doubt there will be any license of Jaws in any form to a boutique label

If they don't have any interest in releasing it themselves, why not? Why go to that effort for a 2-week theatrical release then squirrel it away in the vault never to be seen or spoken of again?

Honest answer, because it’s not worth it. It’s not worth the cost of manufacturing an extra disc that will be a drink coaster for 99.9% of buyers. The last model year for 3D capable TVs was 9 years ago. Most 3D capable TVs in households have been replaced by now,

They could go the licensing route but there is really little reason for universal to do it. I’d be quite surprised if a release made to even a thousand copies sold

I’d love to have it but Universal made their decision so we have to live with it I guess as this will very likely be the last physical media release of Jaws

3D isn't worth it to Universal. I didn't expect it at all.

However, a boutique label like Turbine that have a working relationship with Universal currently (again Super Mario Brothers 3D, and others) it makes perfect sense as part of a package deal with Universal.
If Turbine sells 3,000 copies of Jaws 3D, they will be happy.

how do you even market 1975 Jaws 3D when another Jaws 3D already exists
