Don't know what happened on the first post???

If you couldn’t guess from the title I’m narrowed by search for a receiver down to a Denon. I thought I had decided to wait on the 1803, but I’m not sure if I’ll use the rear center channel at my current house and if I was only going with a 5.1 setup I could just get the 1802. Well as I was looking through the local classifieds I saw a 3801 for $500. I figured that I might be able to get it a tad cheaper ~$475 or so, which will put it and the 1803 around the same price.

Extra info to consider. I’ve pre-wired my HT room for a 7.1 setup, but the room is not finished yet and I don’t think a 7.1 setup would sound “perfect” in the room it will be in (another reason for a 5.1 system). Another thing is that I’ll probably be moving in 1-2 years and will drastically upgrade everything when we build the house we really want.

I think I’m leaning toward the 1802 now just to save money unless I can get a really great deal on the 3801. What would you all do?
