I have an older Pentium II 350 Mhz that has an unenabled USB port running Windows 95. Is there a patch to Win 95 that will make it detect the port? Should I try to upgrade to Windows 98, I'm not sure 2000 or XP would run on my machine (only 7GB hard drive and 128 Mb RAM). Integrated video.

I think win95 OSR2 does this, but it's not a 'patch' - it's a new version that you would need.

Win 2k would run fine on that - I've used a PII 400 laptop w/ 128 for a long time and it worked fine. Not a gaming rig, but great for most tasks.

As Dave said, there is no "patch" for 95, and the Win95 OSR2 with USB support is not supported by most USB devices anyway. With your system and small drive, I'd reccomend upgrading to Win98se.

Yeah, win98se will run fine on your 350. I have a P166 and it runs pretty well.
