What do we think about this? It's suppose to be a modern day take on Frankenstein..I'm saying that it might be good since Scorsese is involved. I hope they make it really scary!

I read somewhere that Frankenstein is a cop in this. Can someone please tell me otherwise?

Do you think that this and the Hallmark movie coming next week were greenlit when people thought Van Helsing was going to be huge?

That really does sound like a ghastly premise, and makes me wonder what Scorcese is doing connecting his name with this show.

Well I have hope since Scorcese is involved..I also read that Marcus Nispel (director of Chainsaw Massacre) will be working with Scorcese. This better be scary!

The Hallmark mini-series of FRANKENSTEIN airs tonight and tomorrow night. I will watch that and then tune in for the USA movie take.

I haven't heard much about the Hallmark one. I think i'll just watch the USA version, since it's suppose to be somewhat different...

Hold on, does she live in seattle too? I think Frankenstein was filmed in New Orleans, at least it takes place there. Anyways, it should be good...

You guys don't get the USA network in Canada? I'm sure they will somehow show it there...you might want to check the website out and see if you will.

I watched the screener tape of FRANKENSTEIN on Wednesday. I liked it. It is intended as a pilot for a possible TV series (at least four scripts have been ordered beyond the pilot movie). This airs Sunday on USA at 9 pm ET/PT

P.S. If you look in the 2004 Archive on my site and go to TV review/articles, you can read my comments on the Hallmark mini-series.

I forgot to mention that the guy who did the music for many of David Lynch's music did the theme song for this movie (it kinda sounds like Angelo Baldmenti(sp) has been listening to lots of Nine Inch Nails).
