No-one said that going to wheel to wheel at speed wasn't dangerous, just ask the long list of concussed, fractured and maimed IRL drivers. I just don't think think that flooring the throttle for 100% of the lap and going throuhg the corners below the conering limit of the car is the greatest test of skill, no matter how dangerous it might be.
I don't care if people enjoy that sort of spectacle, although frnakly I find the interest rather blood thirsty, but I do mind when people confuse that sort of thing with actual racing.
They used to hit 250 on the straights at Indy, but not anymore, just like they used to go through the corners on the limit.
