Upscaling Dvd Players/HDMI (1 Viewer)

Are there any players out there that upscale over HDMI, I am interested in getting one, but my Panasonic 47x54 does not have a Dvi input, only HDMI, and a few sets of componets.

DVI & HDMI are pin for pin compatible and you can use a simple DVI-HDMI cable or gender changer.
You will not be able to carry the audio signal.

I beleieve ALL the HDMI players upsacle via HDMI.
