I currently have a Pioneer 710S that I bought yesterday to replace my blown JVC 7000V. Well I noticed a nice sized crack on the left of the front plastic, you can't see it as its on the side, and the reciever works, but there is the crack and I noticed today while cleaning up the box has an open box sticker on it. Again the reciever works great and had everything in it, but I hate the idea of an open box purchase. So I am bringing it back later on, but before I did that I wanted to know if it would be worth while for me to spend the extra $100 and upgrade to the 810S which does DTS-ES??? Thanks.

If you have a rear center speaker laying around then you might want to pony up the extra cash and get the 810s. If not then you should probably just stick with the 710s.
