Upgrading my monitor (1 Viewer)

Hey guys i have an OLD monitor now, 17" NEC CRT piece of crap really. I got it for free but its really blurry now and before my eyes go i'd like to replace it with a 19" monitor. My budget is around 400$-450$ canadian.
I am looking at getting an LCD. Lots of sales on all over the place. I'm looking at either of these but if anyone can give me some info based on their experience i'd appreciate it.
I know i definetly want a 19" monitor tho even tho i know i'd be sacrificing some performance. However i only want one with DVI connectibility.

I would get the BenQ out of those, they are really nice, the LG isnt bad either.
