In the next month or so, I'm getting rid of my old Panny HTS (SC-BTT490) home theater in a box, and switching to soundbar set-up (not interested in going with separate AV receiver, speakers, etc).

I;ve done some research and 99.9% sure I'm going with this Nakamichi unit. Supports 4k HDR pass-through, has multiple HDMI inputs, with rears wired to sub which connects to soundbar via Bluetooth. I've read some very impressive reviews and it's about the only soundbar system that has multiple HDMI inputs that support 4k HDR pass-through. Currently $649 at Amazon. Just got a 4k TV (Vizio M-50), so thought I'd use my annual stock bonus to upgrade my sound too. Would love to hear any thoughts or feedback, especially from anyone that has this soundbar.

Don’t have one, but it looks like a stellar unit. The user reviews I’ve seen are much better than average for a soundbar with wireless components. Let us know how you like it!

Had this for a week now. Very pleased. Love the side-firing speakers on the bar, helps give the illusion of R/L front speakers. If anyone is looking at soundbars, I'd highly recommend the Nakamich unit due to the 3 HDMI inputs and 4k/HDR passthrough capability.

Never intended to but have went full 4k. My Panny plasma died last month, replaced with a 50" Vizio M series TV, then the soundbar, and also upgraded disc player to an 4k UHD LG 870.

I do have a sound bar in my bed room connected to a 65" 4k LED. Last month, I bought a 300 watt Samsung with the back speaker kit. Its a pretty nice 5.1 system, but we listen to it mostly with the volume at 100%. This is a comfortable level for movies. I would have thought it would have more headroom. The thing I like about it is, its simple, sounds great, and takes up very little room. The cons are, you're stuck with what you bought, they are rarely upgradeable, and if one part fails, the system is disposable. If it was expensive, it will be expensive to replace.

Your system looks great and I'm glad it worked out so well for you. It's from a reputable company and it's highly rated in the reviews.
