Hi All,

I'm considering selling my A2 to a friend who is looking to take the big next step into HD home theater. Would it be worth it to replace it with the A35?

Has anyone recently upgraded from an A2 to the A35 and do you feel that it's worth the extra money? What are the biggest differences that you notice when upgrading? I have an Integra DTR 7.8 receiver and a 5.1 speaker array as well as the Sony HD 46" XBR LCD.

Thanks,

Mitch

If I'm not mistaken the only difference between them is that the A35 supports 1080p and bitstream for the HD audio formats. For those features I'm not sure it's worth the additional expense. Now if it had the Reon chip like the XA2 and you still watched a good amount of SD DVD content that could be different.
