I have a 2-channel bedroom setup I am currently messing with. I have a NAD receiver and a pair of the new KEF Q3's. I love the sound of the KEF's, but I feel I am missing a bit in the mid-to-lower range.

What we be the best improvement for my 2-Channel listening? I thought about moving up to the Q5 with its dedicated mid driver. Or, should I add a sub? It is in my bedroom so it would have to be small and non-boomy. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    DJ

    Don,

I would add the sub. When I was auditioning speakers, I preferred the Q3 to the Q5, where I felt the bass tended to be muddy. The Q5s worked great for HT, but the sloppiness of the bass for music was a distraction. Add the sub.
