Update: Denon DVD-2200 DVD-A and SACD Harsh Sound Quality

    WOW!!!!!! That's all I can say to both SACD and DVD-A sound quality. During the last few days I noticed the sound quality was improving on both formats. The DVD-2200 is just starting its break-in period. I can't wait when the break-in period is finsihed.

    Kage, good to hear. Have you begun investigating in other potential upgrades (speakers/receiver/amps)? It's a disease - you always want more. [​IMG] Enjoy this hobby and share the infections with others.

    I am thinking of upgrading my receiver and speakers, except my subwoofer.

    Your interconnects can play a large role in how your hi-res sounds. I had no harshness at all with DVD-A or SACD on the 2200, with no break-in. Also depends on the recordings...
